After graduating from Virginia Tech, with a degree in Geophysics, Robert Nejako began immediately working in the seismic processing industry.  He has worked for Ensign Geophysics and Fairfield Industries, now FairfieldNodal, before working at TGS as a processing geophysicist in the Marine Processing Department.  He has processed 3D and 2D surveys from raw field data through post migration finished product.  These projects consist of both single and multi-streamer acquisition projects, as well as ocean bottom cable (obc) and nodal surveys.  He is experienced with velocity analysis, Kirchhoff migration, noise multiple and removal, deconvolution  and various parameter testing.

 

Robb’s FairfieldNodal processing experience includes working with numerous projects in the Gulf of Mexico, Alaska, and Novia Scotiia with international surveys from offshore Egypt, U.A.E., Vietnam, and Siberia.  Recently Robb was head of the Anchorage Data Center for FairfieldNodal in Anchorage Alaska. 

As a free lance photographer, Robb's professional photos of Valerie Hartzell have been published in Soundboard Magazine, Alaska Daily News, The Redoubt Reporter (Kenai, Alaska), Gendai Guitar Magazine, and Classical Guitar Magazine (UK). His landscapes of Alaska have been published on the Alaska Daily News web site.

 

Currently he works and lives with his wife Valerie Hartzell and his two dogs Lucy and Jodie in Bedford, United Kingdom.
